by Dick Gagnon One of the ways the NHCCM is working for each of your stations is by organizing, training, and supervising, indivuals to record, edit, and distribute the State of NH House Sessions beginning in January. We hopefully will also be doing the same for the Senate sessions. The Board of the NHCCM decided some months ago that we need to make sure that PEG Access is well known,m and well liked, at the State House. The Legislation Committee has met with State Representative Raymond Gagnon, of Claremont, to see how we can work with him to inform the legislators about the importance of protecting PEG Access in our state. West Harford, Ct is strange in that unless you are a native of there it is almost impossible for the average visitor to find places due to hidden signs. The Video Frstival is another matter--it was a hoot. Ryan and P-e-t-e-r-spent a plethoria of hours preparing for the festival in that we (with others) had to judge the two best in show productions and also prepare all the video snippets and viewing room clips for the event. The West Hartford gang did a superb job of preparing for the event and making our job easy for the Awards Night. (0) Discuss This Article |

by Dave Suitor I’ve been involved with Access TV for about 5 years now, but as the saying goes “I don’t get out much”. The 2009 ACM Conference was the first ACM event that I have attended and it was great!! The 2-day Conference was held at the Champlain College in Burlington Vermont. A trade show and dining area were set up in the gym of the college’s student center. The college’s cafeteria located there at the student center provided breakfast and lunch. The work sessions were held in the school’s multi-media lecture rooms. This was a very nice location overlooking Lake Champlain. (0) Discuss This Article |
